Finland earned a 5–2 win over Canada at the 2025 World Deaf Ice Hockey Championships at Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre.

Finland opened the scoring at 10:30 of the first period when Severi Väre scored, assisted by Aleksi Ahola and Julius Hyyppä. Aleksi Ahola added another goal at 6:23, assisted by Juho Leinonen.

Canada responded less than 20 seconds later with a goal from Sean Kyte, assisted by Ryan Chramtchenko and Jack DesRoches.

In the second period, Elias Nurminen scored unassisted for Finland at 16:12. Santeri Ahola scored Finland's fourth goal at 10:52, assisted by Julius Hyyppä.

Canada added their second goal at 2:39 of the second period. Ryan Chramtchenko scored with assists from Johnny Kyte and Sean Kyte.

In the third period, Julius Hyyppä scored for Finland at 19:39, assisted by Severi Väre and Aleksi Pylväs.
