Canada defeated Czechia 10–0 at the 2025 World Deaf Ice Hockey Championships, recording goals in all three periods in a shutout win at Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre.

Andrew Hughes opened the scoring just over a minute into the game and added another 27 seconds later, assisted by Matthew Sheffield on the second tally.

Canada continued its strong first period with goals from Massimo Luciani, Tyson Gillies, and David Gingera, ending the opening frame with a 5–0 lead.

In the second period, Canada added three more.

  • Tyson Gillies scored at 16:56, assisted by Johnny Kyte.
  • Ryan Chramtchenko scored 24 seconds later.
  • Andrew Hughes completed his hat trick at 1:47, assisted by Jack DesRoches and Tyson Gillies.

Canada closed the game with two goals in the third:

  • Shawn Mayzes scored at 6:35, assisted by Scott Savard and David Gingera.
