Team Canada opened their 2025 World Deaf Ice Hockey Championships with a complete dismantling of Hungary, winning 23–0 before the game was officially ended after two periods due to multiple injuries on the Hungarian side.
Canada came out flying, putting up 9 goals in the first period and another 14 in the second. Their offensive depth was on full display, with major performances across the board:

- Ryan Chramtchenko – 2 goals
- Nathan Flodell – 2 goals

Canada's offensive assault came in waves, combining speed, crisp passing, and clinical finishing.
